FAQs

What can I expect at a visit?

The Physical Therapist and the scheduled client will be the only individuals within the fitness studio and treatment space at a time.  In efforts to minimize crowding between scheduled appointment times,  we ask that patients do not arrive early to their appointment and attend their sessions by themselves.  We ask that only one parent attend an appointment with their child.  We may make exceptions to this on a case by case basis.

Do you accept insurance?

Art of Motion Physical Therapy is an out of network provider. That means you pay upfront for your PT session. If you wish to submit to insurance, we will provide you with a “super bill” that has treatment codes of the services rendered upon request that you can submit on your own behalf.

At Art of Motion, we want you to achieve YOUR goals, not what someone else thinks your maximum progress is.  You will always spend 100% of the time with a Doctor of Physical Therapy and not with aides or assistants.

Your story and what brought you in the door is one of the most important parts of getting you down the right path.  Being out of network allows us to hear the whole story, not just the cliff notes, and allows for the necessary time to help you find your path.

Would you like a cost estimate?

We believe in cost transparency and your right to shop for high quality, cost-effective services. We will be happy to provide you with a "Good Faith Estimate" of our costs upon scheduling or upon request. Please contact us for more information.

How do I get reimbursed?

For most insurance companies, you can file a claim form via their website.  The client is responsible for working directly with their insurance company if they wish to seek reimbursement.  The rate of reimbursement will depend on the individual’s out of network benefits.  For specific details on how to be reimbursed, please contact your individual insurance provider.  Art of Motion Physical Therapy is not responsible for reimbursement.

What is the length of a session?

Physical Therapy evaluations are 75-90 minutes and follow-up visits are 55-60 minutes.

Wellness sessions (ie: dancer screens, pointe readiness assessments) are 55 minutes. You will not receive a superbill for these sessions.
